The experts on puppies tell us that weeks 10-12 are some kind of period of peak wonderfulness. The puppy is old enough to be a little more sensible, and still young enough to stick by you, rather than dashing away all the time.
Imagine that. Only 3 good weeks.
Anyway, it does seem to the the case that she is more settled down and "reasonable." Not so manic.
She is a very self possessed dog. Not skittish, not needy.
The big accomplishment this past week is that she has started going up and down the stairs between the first and second floor of our house. There are a lot of them. The idea of getting started is still a little overwhelming when she is standing at the bottom ... but she is doing it more and more.
I just got around to the pictures that I took of Molly and Sadie last weekend, when Rachel was here for a visit. Click here for a great picture of the two dogs in mid-air, in mid twirl, in mid-play. Click here for a nice picture of Sadie as she was watching Molly, waiting to jump up for another mad dash.

Molly weighs 19.5# today. (She weighed 14.5# twelve days ago.)
She is getting longer and taller by the hour!
Just a peek for you of the Little Green Bed introduced last week.

Rachel came to visit with her 2 year old dog Sadie over the weekend.
After the introductions were made.
A good time was had by all.
